This Privacy Policy provides information about how we (Triton Search & Select Pty Ltd ABN 82 652 505 354 and Triton Search & Select ABN 76 437 645 337) collect and handles personal information consistently with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)("Act"), and the Australian Privacy Principles ("APP").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and otherwise processes or

controls personal information. It also explains the process of how you may request access to, and correction of, personal information we hold about you, or complain about any suspected breach of privacy. We will only collect personal information where it is reasonably necessary in order to carry out one or more functions or activities.

Who do we collect information about

Individuals who have responded directly to a job advert via our website and other job boards we use to market active career opportunities. We may directly approach experienced and qualified professionals for specific job opportunities

What information may we collect

The information we collect through the recruitment and selection process may include information about an individuals:

• Name

• Personal and/or business contact details

• Details of employer

• Details of position and employment history (including CV/resume and/or LinkedIn profile)

• Details of any academic and/or Continuing Professional Development courses

• Details of any professional memberships

• Name and contact details of any referees

• Details relevant to participation in a labour market initiative program – e.g. details of

• eligibility, work history, skills, qualifications and aptitude, placements or representation by a

• recruitment or staffing agency.

How we collect and use personal information

• We will use the personal information it collects and holds primarily for the following reasons:

• Your information will be used for the purposes of carrying out its due diligence in the recruitment process for a job application or opportunities discussed with a job seeker.

• Assessing your skills, qualifications, and interests against our career opportunities. 

• Verifying your information and carrying out reference checks and/or conducting background checks (where applicable) if you are offered a job. 

• Communications with you about the recruitment process and/or your application(s), including, in appropriate cases, informing you of other potential career opportunities 

Storage of Personal Information

Your personal information will be  stored safely and securely using state of the art technology provided by Jobadder CRM and Google Workplace.

If you contract  through Triton Search & Select Pty Ltd once a contract has been signed to start work for one of our clients your details will be submitted to Oncore to complete the Onboarding, Contractor Administration and Payroll. 

This will involve ensuring Right-to-Work, Workplace Health & Safety inductions, and Police Check, the calculation and distribution of PAYG tax and superannuation responsibilities, and payments to Pty Ltd contractors.

Disclosure of Personal Information

• Your personal information will only be presented once we have had your consent via an online application and direct communication about the specific job and company.

• If you are not successful in the application process we will retain your information for future career opportunities 

• Your personal information will only be used in the future once we gain your written consent

• If you contract  through Triton Search & Select Pty Ltd your information will only be passed to our third party partner Oncore  once your contract is signed

Access of personal Information

You have the right to request access to personal information we have collected and hold about you. Subject to any lawful reason not to, we will give you access to the personal information we hold for you and allow you to correct any information that is incorrect.

Our retention of your information 

If you apply for the position advertised by Triton Search & Select and your application is unsuccessful (or you withdraw from the process or decline our offer), we will retain your information for future opportunities that may be of interest.
